They Didn't Tell You...?

In the famous word of Robyn Rihanna Fenty, " didn't they tell you that I was a savage? ". It has become my mission this year to single-handedly change the narrative of the 'Yoruba Demon' stigma. You see, for far too long, my fellow Yoruba lads have been bashed on all forms of social media, being referred to as 'demons' or worse. We've been called any and everything else but the children of God. Now, while I have to admit that some of you have definitely done some heinous crimes of the heart against our beautiful Nigerian women, I think its quite unfair to group all of us in the same category.

Take me for example, i'm as friendly as they come. Well, that is  until I am pushed to my limit and I'm forced to unleash a world of pain unto you and yours. Anyway, I  digress. All i'm saying is,  although we may look like, dress like and seem like what you have associated with being your worst possible nightmare ; a well put-together Yoruba man with a heart as black as coal, some of us are actually decent. So in honor of my birthday, I am officially calling you all to cease and desist the Yoruba Demon slander. You're just going to have to deal with us and weed out the good ones from the bad because we aren't going anywhere. Loadsa love from the "Yoruba Angel Coalition".

P.S : Shoutout to Kolisa for my first ever all-black agbada.
